Food, glorious food! Just because we’re trying to eat healthier doesn’t mean we have to give up our love of food. Right? But first, let’s start with a little reality check. There is a new survey ranking obesity, and while Indiana seems to have improved in the rankings, further review shows we still must do better. We still have work to do to be a Fit City, Indianapolis!

This Trust for America’s Health survey shows an improvement in Indiana’s rank compared to other states, but the Hoosier obesity rate actually holds steady at 27.4 percent. Health experts still think there is reason to be hopeful with all the health programs available to improve our rankings and Hoosiers’ health (including FitCity!).
